Last week of 2017

Another year has come and gone. And quickly... Kinda scary; it's still early 2017 in my mind!

Anyway, here's what we were up to this last week of 2017:

We watched the new Star Wars movie (in Real3D, of course, which also was the first time for Mom).

We started assembling our new Lego set (the one that both Jan and I had bought as a Christmas gift for each other - great minds do think alike!) with the help of some furry helpers.

Had a great lunch at the Portland City Grill on the 30th floor of the City Bank building (very yummy!!).

Went to the Allison Inn and Spa on the 29th for a massage.

And after all that relaxation, hiked a good 10 miles in Silverfalls State Park on the 30th (from the South falls to the North falls via the Rim Trail, and then back again via the Perimeter and Rackett Ridge Trails.

Not gonna lie - we were just as pooped as Pepper here :).

And finally, the obligatory annual end-of-the-year trip to the coast. The weather was glorious. What a way to end the year!
