PW & CLEO TPM

As it is already late February, I guess it's time to update the record...
Photonics West happened - as it does every year - in San Francisco. Like last year I missed being able to crash a Jule's place. But at least I got into a much nicer hotel (Clift) much closer to the Moscone Center than last year (Holiday in at Fisherman's Wharf).

February got very wet in the Portland area - in fact, it's the wettest in modern history.
My annual trip to the CLEO technical program committee meeting in Washington DC reminded me that sunshine actually does exist: it was sunny, warm and overall very pleasant... a perfect day to sit cooped up in a Hotel ballroom.
